President and Founder
Vicky Savage started UptoDate Bookkeeping because she loves helping business owners grow. She is committed to helping small to mid-sized companies succeed in their passion by focusing on her passion – bookkeeping. This commitment has made UptoDate Bookkeeping a popular choice for business owners across the Twin Cities Metro Area.
When not working, Vicky loves spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoys road trips and traveling with her family.
Gary Zauner specializes in payroll and has never worked with one that was too unique to handle. He loves the diversity of industries that choose UptoDate Bookkeeping; working with a variety of businesses keeps work interesting!
Gary enjoys getting an early start to the day for exercise/errands/household chores so that evenings can be free for family and friends. He also enjoys smoking the occasional cigar and growing a beard.
Brian Thompson joined our team in 2015 and works closely with clients on their bookkeeping and payroll services. Born and raised in Forest Lake, Brian remains involved in the community and appreciates the way that UptoDate Bookkeeping positively impacts the area.
In his spare time, Brian likes to take road trips around the country and explore State and National Parks. He also does the occasional DIY project and plays mini golf.
Brian has been with UptoDate Bookkeeping since moving to Minnesota in 2015 and enjoys the unique challenge that every client brings. His critical thinking, adaptability, and problem solving skills allow him to help each client with their individual needs. He appreciates the camaraderie of the UptoDate Bookkeeping team and the teaching environment that keeps him learning and makes it possible to help clients succeed.
When not at work, Brian enjoys traveling, camping, hiking with his family and dog, finding new adventures, and chasing around a kid who doesn’t know how to sit still!
Elizabeth joined our Team in December of 2018. Her extensive knowledge, years of accounting background, attention to detail and interest in diversity will not only make her a valued member to our team, but to our clients teams as will.
When not at work, Elizabeth loves spending time with her family, enjoying the outdoors and making all different kinds of crafts.

Arlene is a trusted HR consultant and strategist for small and medium-size organizations, bringing over 35 years of hands-on experience to her 500+ clients since starting HRx, Inc. in 1992.
